Had a glass of this wine in an Italian Restaurant (house red) and thought it was a nice wine to accompany a meal. — 4 years ago
This was good. Better than expected. Spinelli gave me at Maryann's wedding and then I drank at the house with Jessica — 7 years ago
Incredible, frizzante, crisp, Meyer lemon, minerality — a year ago
Cantine Spinelli ‘Tratturo’ Montepulciano D’Abruzzo DOC 2018: Light/Medium body. Moderate acidity. Well integrated tannins. Black cherry. Plum. Cranberry. Tobacco. Oak. Nice dry finish. All in all, this was a light, young & fruity wine. Very enjoyable with good QPR but does lack the fullness expected from the Montepulciano variety. Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago

Lovely old vine (128 years old) Mataro from Contra Costa County east of SF, rich redfruits, still well-structured, not overly extracted, just pure with a long, lingering finish, ideally needs more cellaring. — 7 months ago
