Great RS vs acid balance. Tight lines with delicious floral and ripe citrus notes. Slurp! — 10 years ago
This is great! Aromatic, supple, mouth filling, textural and long. Seamless acidity. Slurp! — 11 years ago
Slurp! Juicy red and black fruit on the noise transitioning to more tertiary notes on the palate. Good acid and smooth finish. — 11 years ago
A tasty Barolo, a bit modern. 100% pure Nebbiolo, in the glass a garnet core and starting to brick on the rim. In the nose dried orange rinds, dried licorice, and sweet tobacco. The first slurp reveals more of the same, hot, mid-day sun, hiking trail wild licorice, dried essence of orange rinds, sweet cherries, and tobacco. The finish is long and lasting. The price point listed is not accurate, it sells for $35 - $50 — 11 years ago
Floral and dried underbrush aromatics, welcome you in, while crushed, ripe blackberry, licorice, fine ground minerality and black olives cater to every sip and slurp, abundant acid makes food pairing a snap! All of this for under $20 is a wine lovers dream! — 12 years ago

Sparkling Chenin Blanc is the bubbles go-to. Especially when there's one from the Loire Valley, made in traditional method. All the joy of Champs at half the price. Plus the lovely tropical fruit notes Chenin brings. Slurp. — 10 years ago

2010 sqn stinker drinking like a slutty champ. Slurp slurp — 11 years ago
#RiojaBuzz Light colored garnet hues starting to recede near the rim. Funky, dirty, sexy aromas, wrapped around drying strawberries and dark plums, and savory underbrush flavors seduce you with each sip and slurp. The tannins are silky, the finish is long and the pairing opportunities are endless! A classic #Rioja gem not to be missed! — 11 years ago

If you're not a Tablas Creek fan yet, bottles like this will convince you. Mourvèdre, Tannat and Grenache come together to wow you from the first slurp, to the last drop! This winery is Paso Robles at its best, the west is best. Anyone sensitive to high abv, you'll immediately be freighted away by the 14.5%. — 12 years ago
A great buy for the price, not a lot of length but tasty/slurp able. Pairs well with Presidential Debates — 10 years ago
Great VALUE for the $ ... You can slurp this right down. — 10 years ago
"From the slurp factory of Barossa," single vineyard from Ebenezer. Lifted nose: milk chocolate, wintergreen, vanilla extract, brambly dark berries. Bright on the palate with rich forest berries, finishes strong with black raspberry tart. In a great place right now! — 11 years ago
2004 vintage. Amazing dessert wine — 11 years ago
Deutz 'William Deutz' 1999, Ay, since 1983 in the hands of Louis Roederer, slight different philosophy, all wines undergo malolactic fermentation, which explains their rich and expansive texture. Very likeable and slurp-able, with its upfront tropical fruit, spice, toastiness and butterscotch flavour. Serious price tag though... — 12 years ago
Possibly the only Torbato you'll find stateside, the Terre Bianche vineyard delivers a complex, mineral driven, dry wine which seems to boast a thousand years of seabed sediment in each sip and slurp! A bit of lemon peel rinds on the nose and dried citrus notes on the long, pleasing finish. For fans of wines with blazing acid and layers of minerality, this is the wine for you! $19 — 12 years ago
Sweet, full bodied, delicious, thanks Daddy D! Maybe we'll save you a slurp! — 13 years ago
