2021 vintage. Oh Pritchard Hill! Medium-heavy body. Rich, full, plush and smooth without the overt, over the top, fruit-bomb markers usually at the ceremony. Really nice depth of field. Wanted some more structure but don’t think that’s in the cards these days with this style of Napa Cab. Vibrant purple red edges with a deep red core, beautiful healthy color. Baking spices, violets, graphite, a touch of meat and blackberry. The palate is tight as this is still a baby so give it a few years time or be sire to decant. Tight layers of tart black and red fruits compete with some earth and black tea. Medium Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits with notes of dried herbs, citrus and woody spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cranberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity.
