Ruby red with just slightly garnet hue. Dried rose petal, red/black cherry, blackberry black tea, licorice on the palate, cinnamon, clove, tobacco, dusty, complex with so many layers, med plus acidity, med plus tannin. — 7 years ago

Decanted for 1.5 hours first - a little rough at first but opened up - tart cherries, ripe fruit, very round and smooth but tannins have a strong grip. Great with steak! — 5 years ago
