It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Pretty nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing cherries, currants, plums, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 11 year old Merlot still feels fresh and engaging, with a lot of power to last even longer.
This Single Vineyard Merlot is extracted and fruit forward. The alcohol is nicely integrated by now. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Delicious by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with food too.
14.7% alcohol by volume.

A superb Chardonnay! Aromas of Anise and Honeysuckle. Apple and Honey on the bud. Crisp and smooth with a long finish. Great with our Salmon tonight. Need to order more from Evening Springs as we were extremely impressed with their wines when we visited earlier this year. — 5 months ago
Light but full flavor. Higher acid than tannin but very good. — 10 months ago
Lots of forward fruit, red currant and blackberry. Subtle mid palate. Just a nip of tannins on the finish. Overall smooth and easy drinking. — 6 years ago
Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.

Dry on the palate with sweet cherries, raspberries, black plums, light oak, chocolates, spices, coffee and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This Single Vineyard Petit Verdot is rich and fruit forward. Nicely balanced and spicy, with a nice mouthfeel.

Surprised me that it was showing so well at 20 years old! — 10 months ago
Very nice! Best Can from Washington state I’ve tasted. Smooth heavy mouthfeel but bold fruit taste. Chocolate and red berry tones. — 3 years ago
Medium tannins. Strong red and blue fruit flavors with slight orange and herbal notes. — 6 years ago
Excellent stuff — 7 years ago
The Sea Ridge Chardonnay is rich and ample all in the Martinelli style but well balanced. Lemon pie, custard, ripe melons and French oak. Not the most subtle wine but very good in its own right. — 8 years ago
