Very nice! Best Can from Washington state I’ve tasted. Smooth heavy mouthfeel but bold fruit taste. Chocolate and red berry tones. — 3 years ago
This vintage was fantastic. Nicely balanced. Right amount of pepper. Very much an underrated winery. — 7 years ago
Light but full flavor. Higher acid than tannin but very good. — 10 months ago

Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Very dark Ruby with pronounced aromas of dark fruits, cigar box & earthy notes, touch of floral citrus. Flavors of black cherry & blackberry with tobacco & spice. Fine tight tannins, long finish ending with cacao, tobacco & mineral spice as the finish builds. Decant now! Will continue to age! — 5 years ago
Love this blend! Oaky cherry nose, notes of cranberry and cherry. Light peppery notes. A favorite! — 5 years ago

Surprised me that it was showing so well at 20 years old! — 10 months ago
Very nice to try one of these with some nice age on it. Purchased directly from the winery last year. I believe this was the first harvest after the full set of Pinot plantings were done. Definitely slightly secondary by now, but still very refined with great hints of dark red fruit, excellent linearity and length, and great earthiness with just enough acid. — 10 months ago
One of the most ambitious new entrants to the Napa luxury wine scene sits high up on Atlas Peak. In true “modern Napa” form, Seven Apart @sevenapart is a spare-no-expense project that is the work of financier Don Dady and NFL star Jason Kyle. Andy Erickson of @faviawines is their inaugural winemaker. Deep black cherry and cassis and tobacco morph into licorice and dried flowers and dried herbs on the journey across the palate. Sumptuous and polished, but with excellent acidity and an admirably restrained 14.1% alcohol. The bottle, as you’d expect from such a venture, is offensively heavy, but the wine is good. This is the remains of a press sample. — 5 years ago
Lots of forward fruit, red currant and blackberry. Subtle mid palate. Just a nip of tannins on the finish. Overall smooth and easy drinking. — 6 years ago
This is a very good pac NW Pinot. Lovely now but Maybe another year or 2 to lay down. — 7 years ago
Orange-red clear color; nose has red and black cherries, strawberries, underbrush, herbs, wet used socks (in a good way:-), flower petals, and hints of oak flavours; on the palate are red fruits, medium acids, soft tannins, candy-sweets, and a faint but lasting finish. No hints of herbacious green notes observed in my last Oregon PNs. Had with Dutch cheeses and Italian charcutery and Shostakovich 2:nd piano trio played on a master recording from 1983 by the Borodin Trio. — 8 years ago

It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Pretty nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing cherries, currants, plums, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 11 year old Merlot still feels fresh and engaging, with a lot of power to last even longer.
This Single Vineyard Merlot is extracted and fruit forward. The alcohol is nicely integrated by now. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Delicious by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with food too.
14.7% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
