Amber color that actually looks like a topaz stone. Incredible nose. Figs, dates, caramel, whisky, vanilla toast, toffee. Dry #sherry with an almost acidic sensation and lots of bitters and a never-ending finish of coffee salt and blood oranges — 11 years ago
Medium garnet sweet nose of strawberries and cream caramel. Drinking incredibly well for a 2009. Makes me think this winery is more of a modern style Barolo. Has racy acidity and good fruit, tannins are pronounced with a tea bag sensation but balanced on the whole. Renews my faith. — 11 years ago

This rocked, needs 5 more years, full on, gorgeous and big all the way thru, great sensation — 12 years ago
I agree with @Andrew Cooper it has intense almost chewable flavor and very refreshing and balanced acidity. There's a sensation of #minerality that when #blindtasting could almost lead you to think it's a Riesling from Alsace. 14 alcohol. #jurançon — 10 years ago
Nice and dry with a great wiff of leather and tobacco. Just a hint of ruby cherries. A very nice drying sensation on your tongue after each sip. — 10 years ago
The nose made me smile. This wine is floral reminds me of a spring day when all of flowers are in bloom and the sky is filled with wonder. I enjoy Torrentes but this one has to be one of my favorites until I taste another that evokes the same sensation. — 11 years ago

82% Grenache • 18% Mourvèdre • This wine was aged for 42 months in a combination of 1 year old hogsheads, and 600 and 800 liter demi-muid. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration. It attacks the palate with amazing fruit, complexity, structure and concentration. — 11 years ago
Handsome caramel brown color. Caramel toffey comes on the nose as well, softly, along with cobs of corn. Beautiful passage through the palate, very orderly and harmonious, with phenomenal complexity, all in a medium to full body. Leatherly sensation on the tongue. Sweet toasty flavor on the long finish. Oily sensation at the end. 93 pts. — 12 years ago
Tingly sensation on the tongue. Once it has had time to breathe, very unique and delicious. Has a slight wheat beer after taste! Very good 2nd day! ~$14 @ liquor mart, boulder, co. — 13 years ago

This Albariño pours up pretty in the glass - yellow-gold and a touch of bubbles. The bubbly sensation doesn't last too long, but it's festive while it’s there. The nose brings some citrus - of course - and a smattering of stone fruit and ripe apples. In the mouth, the magic really begins. The acidity is razor-sharp and a complete delight. The bottle should come with a dozen oysters. Flavors of apples and Meyer lemons grace the palate and you simply don't run out of minerals. There's a lot to like here, and it lasts long beyond the sip. — 10 years ago
