Tout est fondu, c’est équilibré, rien à redire si ce n’est un petit manque de complexité. J’ai adoré la finesse — 6 years ago
Smells of Game, bramble and blackberries. Mud earth. Tastes, Extracted and full bodied. Vivid. High octane, mocha, mocha, mocha, mocha and wet leather, mulled spices. — 6 years ago
Funky nose. Plenty of cherry. Mouth feel is tart and full. Rose petals meets berry cobbler and green apples. A lovely Carneros Pinot example. — 7 years ago
Founded in 1988 by Dave Miner, along with his wife Emily and his parents, Ed and Norma. Aged for 15 months on French oak (60% new), from a 50-acre vineyard planted in 1995 by Gary Franscioni and Gary Pisoni along the terraces of the Santa Lucia mountains. Aromas of fresh dark berry fruit and wonderful baking spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cranberry and cola with toasty notes, well balanced. Fine tannins on lingering finish ending with a burst of fruit. Very nice. — 8 years ago
Great bouquet straight out of the bottle. Incredibly tasty. Tannins have softened. — 8 years ago
$24 from Domestique. Really good and fab value — 5 years ago
@delectable this is floral terraNes MX. blend of teroldego, lagrein and Syrah. It’s very delicious. Lots of blueberry. Very ripe blueberry. Some blackberry too. Fine tannins that coat the top of the mouth and tongue. Not super high acid but very ripe fruit flavor. There’s some roasted red pepper. Maybe a bit of celery salinity. Also some roasted brownness on the nose like coffee. Lavender and mint come out after air. I wish I had a bottle of this in five years. I imagine would become even meatier and smokier. Good stuff. One of my favorite wines from Long Island’s Floral Terranes. — 5 years ago
1500 ml and should have waited a few more years, no to say that we didn’t savor every sip of this! — 7 years ago
Boysenberry, blackberry, black currant compote with some hints of anise and a lingering finish. Paired nicely with spicy BBQ ribs. — 8 years ago
Nice blend with a pepper and toasted finish. — 9 years ago
2018 vintage. For his fun "Goutte du Seigneur" label Bernard Duseigneur buys organic grapes (his own vineyards are biodynamically farmed). This is a Grenache - Syrah blend and it's absolutely delicious even if a bit more bottle age is recommended. Smells like freshly crushed black cherries and flowers. Gorgeous bright cherries, fresh acidity and a nice ripe tannic bite. Very serious wine for the price. — 5 years ago
This is a terrific value for a classic Marlborough sauvignon Blanc. All the elements are in place- pale lemon color, pronounced nose of grapefruit, elderflower, bell pepper and like. This is more fruit forward than overtly herbaceous and the acidity is well balanced. Very good effort and more layered than many from the area — 7 years ago
Age made this wine great for $18 - would let it age another 4-5 years — 8 years ago
I like the traditional Monte bello better — 8 years ago
Consumed July 2016. I'm not normally a fan of Chenin Blanc but this was really good. Received this in one of my wine shipments. — 9 years ago

Opened day 1, wine was mediocre so I corked it and put back in the refrigerator. Day 2, the evolution was incredible, medium tannins, great mouth feel and textures. I think the wine need to sit down for a few more years, but decant or open the bottle several hours before you consume. — 4 years ago
