Light gold hue. Aromas of pear, pineapple, stone, tangerine. Medium body with medium acidity. Sweet palate of tropical fruit with an acidic finish. No alcohol burn. At 8% ABV, it's very easy-drinking. Definite dessert wine. Straightforward and no frills. — 6 months ago
Crisp and fresh. Very nice! — 3 years ago
I’m getting a real taste for these delicious aged rieslings. This is the second bottle of this vintage I’ve had, and man - it was rocking. It’s in such a perfect place right now. Ripe acidity balanced with the sweetness of honey, caramel apple, brûlée’d peach, kerosene and lilac flower. I’m making a mental note to buy more for the cellar. Despite the wait, these are too good to rob your future self of their pleasures. Yum. — 5 years ago

Nice balance with only mild sweetness, Paired perfectly with Chinese food with any Asian dishes. Drank in November 2024 — 7 months ago
The Basic QbA Riesling from a good grower should always be a very good wine that also ages well. Case in point here. This 13-year old has another decade of aging potential. I believe the vineyard village here is Wehlen. The fruit is fresh and would be convincing as a feinherb, and the balanced structure is appropriately firm. — 5 years ago
