While visiting the Qupé tasting room in Los Olivos, they poured the medium-ruby '11 Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard Pinot Noir. A funky earthy nose intermixed with floral and savory herb notes. Subtle and elegant palate of cranberry and cherry flavors. Hints of neutral oak on the aftertaste. — 10 years ago
First sawyer and this was a very nice Syrah. Tannins are starting to smooth out and lots of dark fruit. Drink now or hold — 11 years ago
