Nice aroma, red currant and spice, very drinkable — 5 years ago
This wine may be on the decline. The fruit has gone decidedly raisiny. But the acidity still shines and the wine remains delicious. — 6 years ago

Very red berry…cherry and strawberry. A bit of leather and mushroom. — 4 years ago
Really nice - honeysuckle, apricot, maybe even some lemon peel? The oak is definitely there at the end but it’s not overbearing at all. Paired it with stuffing, Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes but would also be great with grilled fish. — 5 years ago
Dark blue fruit. Very pure with lovely savory fruit with a tangy sour cherry note. A bit Nuits Saint George-like. Still great life to this, with great balance. A treat — 7 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend from estate vineyards; Sanford & Benedict Vineyard (~44%) and La Rinconada (~56%), changes a bit year/year, aged 11 months in 27% new French oak, light Ruby color with aromas of tart fruit, spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cranberry with white flower notes and an array of spices. Fine dusty tannins, long finish ending with fresh fruit, spice and earthy tones. Good now! — a year ago
