Oh my goodness, here is goodness itself. Such an accessible poem this wine. Forthcoming wild strawberry jam and bark and sweet smoke like incense. It's like when someone remembers the things you love, the things maybe you even forgot you loved, and tries, really tries, for you and their effort engulfs you and they don't see that consideration in themselves but it's so vivid in your eyes. — 7 years ago
Definitely can taste the connection between Evening Land and Sandhi. Overall it's very nice. Excellent mouth feel, not buttery. — 8 years ago
😲!!!! I've fallen in love. This is ethereal juice. Svelte, lean, orange peel, wild strawberry, cranberry, game, flowers, funk. So complex. The nose pumps out aromas out of the glass. One of the best pinots in all of America. @June's All Day, Austin TX — 8 years ago

Smooth citrus and tropical flavor, not too tart, pairs nicely with salmon. — 7 years ago
Classic Pinot. Soft on the tongue but full of flavor. — 7 years ago
The expected acid and lemon of a Sandhi. Personally haven’t noticed massive variation in Rajat’s wines across terroir. — 7 years ago
THE. BEST. DOMESTIC. CHARD!!!!!! Yes, yes, yes. I'm blown away. This is the best domestic chard I've ever drank. This particular vintage is killer. I could poor this in a lineup of top notch Meursault and none would be the wiser, that's how good this is. Intense smoke/funk brought on by minerality that most domestic producers could only dream of. A legendary wine in my book. @June's All Day, Austin TX — 8 years ago
A brilliant balance of deliciousness and complexity that makes it easy to drink the whole bottle without ever thinking about things like when it was disgorged... — 8 years ago
Umami, green tea nose with a smooth, jammy flavor. Lingers for a bit with a touch of heat. Quite tasty! — 10 years ago
So beautiful! — 11 years ago
A not-too-distant relative of Sandhi. — 7 years ago
Very interesting to taste this pitted against the Sandhi Pinot posted just previously. Similar in so many ways yet so different! Foraged strawberries, earth, rosewater. Tannins with a light grip like a partner lightly squeezing your palm during a horror film even though they claimed to be fearless. Bright, restless acidity. Smart and worldly. Alive and well. — 7 years ago
Great job on no so2 Pinot — 11 years ago

Nose begins as a dull flint, with some petrol. Needs 5 minutes of air for the fruit and oak to unfurl. Really shows after an hour open. Incredible energy and length, which is reminiscent of Sandhi, though with clearly different typicity, showing less of the lemon/lime thing and more of a full, buttery popcorn thing. Everything’s decently integrated, for the age. — 6 years ago
