I like the wine! Great place to enjoy some Texas wine. The SaltLick — 9 years ago
Learning new thangs: mushroom, smoke, bright, salt, texture. Abv 15%!!! And wildly balanced. We were poured entry level '15 from same producer n thought 'wow tropical Mom wine w/ punishingly long finish' — 9 years ago
Preserved lemon, sea salt, rocks and screaming acid. A lot of complexity in a very defined wine. Almost has a tannic grip to it. Wondering what RS there might be to balance this acid. — 9 years ago
Love this #wine. Salt, minerality, citrus. — 11 years ago

Like all our favorite Etnas, so very minerally. Rock salt. We had with cuttlefish and Italian seafood pasta. Perfectly paired. — 8 years ago
A light and delicate rose with a touch of strawberry and a hint of salt. A nice clean finish with some lingering acidity. — 9 years ago
Smoke, sea salt and peat. Soft and delicate fruit. Great 10 year old drinking — 9 years ago
Perfumed purple flowers, dried herbs, salt and smoke(!) aromas lead into Bing & black cherry, ripe raspberry, red & just ripe black plum, all framed by salty minerals, acidity could be a bit higher, but super-fine tannins make up the space. — 11 years ago
Delicious. Seasonal. — 11 years ago
My go to rose. Reminds me of my birthday during the spring! Vibrant, joyful and fresh- the nose brings a delicate floral note and strawberries. The palate has lime zest, candied/salt dipped strawberries, ripe raspberries and cherry blossoms. Very balanced and tastes structured for such a young wine. If I was stranded on an island with one wine for the rest of my life this might be it. — 7 years ago
Mellow, stately nose of flint, lemon, ripe melon and toasty barley invites you in, only to be assailed by a ripping current of electric acidity up front. Once the shock wears off there are layers of citrus, fennel, green apple, sea salt and limestone to be enjoyed. Acid profile is a bit aggro at the moment but has the makings of a chiseled, mineral, beautiful Chard. — 8 years ago
Pretty sweet, yet I can't get enough of it. — 9 years ago
Liquid minerals & salt , pure Saumur goodness — 9 years ago
The salt ponds from Point Judith Pond, RI get 96 points and the Wiannos from Cape Cod, MA get 97 points. This 100 point system is so great for enjoying food and wine! — 10 years ago
I agree w the salt & minerality calls on this beautiful wine. Also excellent w fried chicken! — 11 years ago
