One of my go-tos. I love this cab. It always has a fantastic flavor, aroma, smooth body and perfect finish. And for the price, I don’t feel as guilty opening it as I do opening some of my other inglenook favorites. — 7 years ago
Great fruit and structure. Could age for years to come. — 8 years ago
Dry with some earthy tones. — 11 years ago
2015 - at Prime and Providence with steak - decanted - full body and ver smooth — 7 months ago
2011 vintage with grilled steak - aged amazingly well. Very smooth and full bodied. — 10 months ago
Deep purple without a hint of any other suggesting improper storage. Classic if a bit understated Napa nose. Soft yet appropriately firm tannins. Ripe black fruits. Luscious wine. Suggest drinking sooner rather than later owing to fruit ripeness. — 4 years ago
Celebrating with Angela great cab — 4 years ago
11.18. Good stuff. Paired well with the rib eye. Enjoyed the flavor and easy to drink. — 6 years ago

It's time for some Merlot on this MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf, light black pepper, herbs, light vanilla and licorice.
Tangy finish with soft tannins.
This 5-year-old Merlot from Napa Valley is peaking now, and drinking very nicely. Fruit forward with an elegant mouthfeel.
Wine Spectator 91 points.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and good for parties. Good with food too.
A blend of 77% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Syrah. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

We had the 2013 Vintage on 5/2-3/21. This was a terrific full bodied, well balanced wine. Tastes of blackberry, plum, kirsch and vanilla on the palate. The tannins were smoothed out. A great example of the Napa floor. — 4 years ago
Really a very nice Napa Cabernet from a great vineyard site in a good drinking place age wise. On cork pop the oak was too overbearing - that sort of oaky sweetness that I don’t care for. But decanted for a couple hours as a result and quite nice after that. Deep violet in the glass. Deep dark fruit notes. Unmistakably Napa, for sure. Some glycerin feel. But a long finish with just enough acid to keep it together. I don’t often drink Napa cab, but on a fall day with burgers it’s hard to complain. — 5 years ago
Citrusy with a strong aroma of orange zest, fresh coriander and sal del mar, finishing smoothly with a palate cleansing clean high acid taste. Pairs well with salmon, sautéed mushrooms, summer evenings. — 9 years ago
Smooth night for a cab. More like a merlot. — 12 years ago
