Loved this South African blend (64% Shiraz, 15% Mourvèdre, 9% Petite Sirah, 9% Grenache, 3% Tannat). At 12 years old, this was drinking perfectly. Dark and concentrated in the glass, the nose was full on baking spices. The palate delivered bold dark red fruit, in a silky texture.
Our neighbors have a home in South Africa and are introducing us to some local wines that are delicious but sadly hard to find in the US - if anyone knows where to find this please drop me a line in the comments! This would be a superb every day drinker. — 7 years ago
Great smooth and easy drinking oaky and fruity, mostly merlot but not boring. Great without food but better with red meat — 8 years ago

Read fruit bomb. They are correct. It tastes of fruit salad juice. In the best way. — 8 years ago
Rich fruit syrup nose. Hint of licorice liquor perhaps. Dark color with a ting of rust. Clean and crisp. A bit earthy. Has most everything you see in the CA hearty and fruit driven Pinot. Ripe. — 8 years ago

Clean, crisp acidity, piercing minerality. Meyer Lemon, pear, green apple, honeysuckle, crushed rock. The vibrant acidity and persistent flavors allow the wine to be a wonderful partner for food. Long finish, terrifically refreshing. — 3 years ago
