This is what all American “natural” winemakers should drink. So much tart red fruits, anise, tons of pepper, herbal liqueur like amaro, god tannin. Evolves with air. One of my favorite wines. — 5 days ago
Last night I opened the 2020 Domaine de Pallus Messanges Rouge Chinon from Touaine, France. 100% Cabernet Franc.
On the nose the is raspberry, strawberry, green bell pepper, spice, reductive notes and earth.
On the palate the is strawberry, raspberry, sweet pepper, herbal notes, green bell pepper, spice and crushed gravel.
This wine is medium bodied with medium acidity and medium to medium + fine tannins that gives you a medium to long red fruit green bell pepper spice finish. Looks like it will be a wonderfull weekend weather wise and wish everyone good weather for whatever your plans are. Stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — a month ago
Great nose that was not well fulfilled on the palette. Perhaps this wine is on the decline. — 3 months ago
Really lovely wine. Great fruit, amazing texture. This used to be much more affordable, so a bit less QPR these days. Will love to see how this grape (Tibouren / Rossese) does in our Applegate Valley vineyard! — 9 days ago
Very interesting—so much of the color has faded in just a few years. Drinks like a dark rosé. Still, this showed really well and while the color has gone, the fruit is still very pretty. — 2 months ago

Beautiful wine. Cherry upfront. Fig and honey. Savory notes of thyme and oregano. Great acid on the palate , but also super fruity with cherry and cranberry. 13.5% well balanced wine. — 4 days ago
