Typically a really big wine, classic Napa cab style, but this bottle was a little flat. Probably not the best storage conditions. — 8 months ago
Still got it! Deep golden color. Apricot, bergamot, soft anise. Light textured on the palate. Only 8% ABV, easy to drink. Not too sweet. Amazingly approachable. — 9 months ago
Dark red color, pleasing aromatics — 6 years ago
Really great merlot. As CWM said, a merlot for Cab lovers! Full bodied, but still light enough to drink on its own without too much of the heavy mouth feel. — 6 years ago
One of the best cabs I've ever had....

Earthy notes on the nose. Slight bitterness but not as pronounced. Red apple skins. Green apple on the finish. This wine wants to be drunk with any food. Good — 9 years ago

Pure and lifted. Black cherry fruit and underbrush. Pretty and starting to drink well. — 7 months ago
I theory enjoyed this wine. It opened up fantastically and had a smooth velvety flavor. Paired with beef, rice and carrots. Plan to purchase again. Would taste better with steak or something more full in my opinion. — 6 years ago
From a presumed late Domaine release, perfect looking bottle with high fill that threw off a lot of sediment. Tawny amber color, translucent and light in the glass. Light cherry, dry brush and rhubarb notes. A nice subtle richness in the mouth. Fruit is somewhat gone but still enough to match the rounded tannins and structure. Again, with air this blossomed and was a great experience for everyone. Another bottle from the Don Stott cellar. — 9 years ago
Almost midori-like character instantly on the nose, Apple / kiwi cordial, peach jelly, spearmint and butterscotch tobacco. The palate strikes the perfect balance of sweetness, acidity aswell as precision and clean fruit. It slips right across the mid palate and glides on through. Pretty faultless really. Drink now or put down for a decade plus — 9 years ago
Rich, pairs well with Italian food, subtly sweet, not full-bodied, smooth, raspberry, cherry — 10 years ago
Drank it just in time...starting to show signs of decline but still delicious! — 12 years ago
Robert Sinskey awesome pinot blanc! — 12 years ago
I bought this for 40 dollars in Paris in 2004. It has survived 2 cross country moves since then. I was worried it would be dead or over the hill. The cork was crumbly. But the wine was incredibly wonderful. I have been meaning to drink this for 10 years but kept delaying. Still lots of primary fruits along with the forest and other 2ndary flavors. This is why Burgundy can be so entoxicating to people. It so often disappoints, but not this time. Too bad wines like this are now so far beyond my means or desire to pay. — 7 months ago

Medium body with elegant finish. Dark fruits, some earth, and some hints of spice. Yummy wine. — 9 months ago
This was on the bubble. Fully mature, but drinking perfectly now. A shade too much oak on the nose and palate. Tannins are close to resolved, and not too much acidity to talk about. Still fruit dominant with black cherries and linze torte. Consume with the next 12 - 24 months. — 5 years ago
Fruit is still there! One of my favorites! Bob Foley is as good a winemaker as there is on the planet! Big, fruit driven, plum and rich, but incredibly balanced. Just so good!! — 6 years ago
This wine exceeded expectations. Though the restaurant could have served it much colder (their food was excellent BTW). — 9 years ago
Great Pinot. Very smooth.

Bright aromas tangerine and citrus with a touch of pear. Juicy on the palate with tons of slatey minerality. Bright acidity balanced by lemon and lime fruit. Medium clean finish. — 11 years ago
