(En Magnum)…One to live forever, but with proper aeration it’s plenty giving, perfumed and seductive with a powerful, vibrant and structured palate with killer Grand Cru density and stunning length that seemingly never dissipates. For the long haul! — 7 months ago
Still got it! Deep golden color. Apricot, bergamot, soft anise. Light textured on the palate. Only 8% ABV, easy to drink. Not too sweet. Amazingly approachable. — 9 months ago

One of the best cabs I've ever had....

From a presumed late Domaine release, perfect looking bottle with high fill that threw off a lot of sediment. Tawny amber color, translucent and light in the glass. Light cherry, dry brush and rhubarb notes. A nice subtle richness in the mouth. Fruit is somewhat gone but still enough to match the rounded tannins and structure. Again, with air this blossomed and was a great experience for everyone. Another bottle from the Don Stott cellar. — 9 years ago
Bright aromas tangerine and citrus with a touch of pear. Juicy on the palate with tons of slatey minerality. Bright acidity balanced by lemon and lime fruit. Medium clean finish. — 11 years ago

Turkey Day in the Dells. Some deer hunting to boot. — 7 months ago
Typically a really big wine, classic Napa cab style, but this bottle was a little flat. Probably not the best storage conditions. — 8 months ago

Pure and lifted. Black cherry fruit and underbrush. Pretty and starting to drink well. — 7 months ago
Light orange in color.
Light nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing raspberries, strawberries, currants, lemons, peaches, spices, sea salt and light earth.
Tangy finish with grapefruits and limes.
This is a young Rosé from Bandol. Spicy and fruit forward. Elegant with a soft mouthfeel.
Nicely balanced and already showing nice complexity.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself as a sipping wine.
A blend of 70% Mourvedre and 30% Cinsault from 45 year old vines.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
$40. — 8 months ago
Spicy, light, fresh yet with quite some character. Fresh red fruit (strawberries & cherries) with a spice undercore.
On the palate this is light yet with presence and a nice tannic frame. I wasn’t expecting this fragility, but it’s really nice. And despite the lightness this has presence and character.
A lovely wine! — 9 months ago
Fruit is still there! One of my favorites! Bob Foley is as good a winemaker as there is on the planet! Big, fruit driven, plum and rich, but incredibly balanced. Just so good!! — 6 years ago
Wanted to drink this after listening to Dominique’s IDTT interview. Found the best nationally priced bottle in Pasadena and it showed really nicely, particularly after being open for something like 4 hours. I like his winemaking approach here, which doesn’t seem to be about elevating it beyond its provenance. It’s a delicious, mineral wine that would crush with shellfish and was lovely in the afternoon along with The Trip to Spain. — 8 years ago
Nice smooth wine. — 11 years ago
Drank it just in time...starting to show signs of decline but still delicious! — 12 years ago
