Very good. Persistent. Toast, and some pear. Full body. — 10 years ago
So, there are some sour yeasty feels to this but still such a complex knockout of flavors you’ll think *great journey this* & just keep drinking & smiling. — 6 years ago

2010 vintage. Very fresh and youthful. Raspberry, red plum, dried cherry, dried cranberry, tea leaves, stale tobacco, autumn leaves, dried violets, tree bark, wet straw. Good complexity, still fresh, lengthy finish. — 7 years ago
I love Meursault and I love LeRoy. Wine is nicely balance with a fleshy roundness grounded by slatey earth. Great with grilled scallops soon to come. — 10 years ago

Bob McDonald
No. 5 in the Vosne Romanee bracket. My notes said “This is La Tache “ which proved to be wrong. All tasted blind to reiterate. Intoxicating aromas of florals red fruit and a hint of sandalwood. Similar energy on the palate but medium weight with some austerity at the finish. Not as full bodied as some DRC Richebourgs I have had. JH said “effortless complexity “. — 6 years ago
