I love this wine, first enjoyed it in a great Sardinian place in Florence. Just received this bottle from Brooklyn and better even than I remembered. — 6 years ago
Love it! Needs hours to open up, but the complexity it develops is in line with even the finest Châteauneuf-du-Pape red. — 6 years ago

The Antinori family of Florence, one of the world's oldest and distinguished wine producers, has lived in Tuscany since the 14th century and celebrated their 625th anniversary as wine makers in 2010. Deep vivid red with aromas of red fruits and complex spice and flowers notes. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with orange zest, cacao and tobacco leaf notes. Structured tannins, nicely balanced ending with mineral and earthy notes on a long finish. Tasting Sample. — 8 years ago

Had this in Florence and was only 18€. So good and maybe I imagined it but when the waiter decanted it, it smelled more flavorful before I took a sip. Very good Chianti for the price. — 6 years ago
There is something about this wine that is intriguing. I am happy this isn't my last bottle of this, and I only have one person to thank for that! From the damned 2011 vintage comes yet ANOTHER awesome wine. Very complex without being a linear and "in your face" kind of style. Pours a dusty rose to the glass. Nose of dried herb, black cherry pie, leather, cola. Entry of black cherry and herb. Middle with a nice black tea kind of note. Finishes a bit stiff. — 6 years ago
History of OFC dates back to 1995 when on a lark, David Swift Phinney took a friend up on an offer and went to Florence, Italy to spend a semester “studying”. During that time, he was introduced to wine, how it was made, and got hooked. A Grenache, Syrah and Petite Sirah blend. Aromas of fresh ripe red fruits with sweet spice. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry, cacao and espresso notes with sweet savory tannins, well balanced on lingering finish ending with toasty oak and sweet fruit. — 7 years ago
Smoother than David's tight buttocks. Sitting at the window of Spumantino in Florence makes me want to let this decant for ten hours — 8 years ago
Drank this in Florence with my cousin Isa & Bruno. Molto sympathico genti, e molto buono vino! — 9 years ago

Very classic and drinkable weekday wine, had in Florence. If it was similarly inexpensive in the states, might buy again (was around 26€). — 6 years ago

Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to the 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Went to a tasting, had ‘14 & ‘15 side by side. Very dark enticing red with concentrated aromas of dark fruits & earthy notes. Flavors of cherry & plum with tobacco and spice. Firm but approachable tannins, medium length ending with a bit of spice as the finish builds. Best to drink ‘14 now. Tasting Sample. — 7 years ago

This one aging gracefully. Primary fruity and floral aromatics have evolved into loamy dark fruits. On the palate it maintains its elegance and freshness and shows black cherry, black raspberry and subtler spice notes with a very satisfying finish! 2011 Vintage — 8 years ago
Big red fruit. Nice spice on the finish. — 9 years ago
