Hey Cellar Rat Wine of the week January 4, 2019. Outstanding. Both Max and I really liked it. Medium body but very flavorful with spicy finish. Notes of good wine. :-) — 7 years ago
Intensive Nase, Frucht, reife Kirschen, würzig. Geschmack weich, fruchtige Süße, Gewürze, weiche Tannine, etwas scharf. Abgang mittellang.

This is simply fantastic. Bouquet is mineral hard yet fruity. Top shelf and value for money. Leave it in the glass and let it develop as you drink it. — 9 years ago

Best rum I can remember drinking; it's not usually my poison. Plenty of rich port barrel, salted caramel. — 9 years ago
A nice wine, full bodied with hints of honeysuckle. This was a gift from my brother to my sister, from Cuba however the wine is French. — 6 years ago
Fruity, easy summervibe — 6 years ago
Lovely aged Riesling , melon fruit flavor, and fruit-filled nose almost pineapple. Sweet Riesling , having a crisp acidic finish. Still gold in color despite its age. A great value at $19. Perfect with Indian food. — 7 years ago
I just finished reading "Shadows in the Vineyard" about the 2010 attempt to poison the DRC, and since I can't afford Villaine's flagship wines, I figured this would be the next best thing. Not disappointed at all. While I tend to dislike young red Burgundy, this is already crazy approachable. Much riper than I'm used to. Not necessarily new-world, but closer to The fruit of Beaujolais, or maybe Rhone. Earthy and complex with a bright red cherry. Vibrant. Elegant. Lovely. — 8 years ago

Simply brilliant and one of the best old-world Rieslings I've had in a long time. Slightly sweet with a soft bubbly finish. Makes me miss Germany with each sip! — 9 years ago

Looks: quite dark straw colour for a riseling. Legs are coming down very quickly and not really forming.
Smell: stone fruits, lemons, minerals and freshly cut grass in the background.
Taste: acidic, smooth and easy drinking. Some fruits coming through and not as dry as expected. Very flat structure and probably good with light seafood dishes — 5 years ago
