Pale brilliant straw-yellow. Vibrant, incisive citrus fruit, floral and mineral aromas show outstanding clarity and a deeper pear note that emerges as the wine stretches out. A pure, sharply delineated example of Riesling, offering concentrated but nervy pink grapefruit, lime and green apple flavors along with hints of honeysuckle and green tea. Closes impressively long and precise, featuring resonating citrus zest and mineral notes and a touch of bitter quinine. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Feb 2018) — 7 years ago
