Solid red blend with northern red wine varieties. — 7 years ago
This needs to be cellared for the 2026 World Cup. Young! Father in law said he would open up a beast if I got the wine right in a blind taste. I plucked a 4-6 year old Brunello... Soooo stay tuned for the next review. — 7 years ago
Paired this delicious wine, from our last trip to Sonoma County 2016, with spinach and ricotta ravolis. We've been letting it settle from it's move from NJ to IL and decided St Patrick's day Eve seemed like as good of an excuse as any to break it open. Worth the wait. Label say...in the winter, when you draw the wine, let there be in your heat a song for each cup... Well singing it's praises. Full-bodied and we'll rounded finish. A wonderful 2014 Bordeaux blend we enjoyed for dinner at the Classic Cup! — 8 years ago
Love this wine. I have at least one cup a day. Wonderful, smooth, sweet taste. — 9 years ago
It has been a ☔️️☔️️🍂🍂 weekend here in Chicago and I couldn't let this gift from @David A Lentine stare at me anymore. Time to pop some good stuff. Plus we have to celebrate a 💪🏻💪🏻 showing by 🇺🇸 at the Ryder Cup, right @Mike Rowe ⛳️?
I'm excited to try some of @Celia Welch wines that all you post so much of and rave about. 2011 was a difficult harvest but the initial swirl indicates no impact of that!
Once again @David A Lentine thanks for the generous gift and feeding my #napacab addiction!! #100percentcab #napavalleyforever

Hate all you want. Not my cup of tea, since it’s wine, but still a solid clean wine. — 6 years ago
My husband is a scotch drinker, but, this was given to him as a Christmas present last year.
He landed up opening it up last week to try, and really liked it. He’s had a glass every night so far.

Freezing snowy night New York City quick glass of wine. Did the trick on the urban hike. One point behind the Greek cup of Joe. — 8 years ago
Purchased this little gem while traveling and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
Bright with fresh berries on the pallet. The finish is slightly bitter.
I must admit that I'm in a hotel room during an early snow in Kansas, listening to Edith Piaf on my bluetooth speaker. Thus, the only glassware available is your typical thin plastic hotel cup.
But, I cannot complain. I truly cannot complain.
Cheers. — 7 years ago

Bring the funk! Love this juiceGrey Cup Sunday!! Bought this Icewine last year in Ottawa while there to watch the Grey Cup, so I brought it out to celebrate having the Stamps in the Grey Cup again this year. Apricot, peach, honey, absolutely superb Icewine, especially including the lower price point. Totally recommend if you’re a fan of Icewines, cause it is definitely sweet! Go Stamps Go! 🐎 🇨🇦 — 7 years ago

Blackberries & black cherries with some cigarbox, thyme, black peppercorns and black tea essence. Plus a whiff of exotic (sandalwood?).
Strong (yet polished) tannins, high acidity and noticeable alcohol - yet after 11y this mix has created a very intriguing, complex and highly drinkable wine. Superb, though probably not everybody’s cup of tea.

First rum I’ve ever liked, I’m 40 years old and whenever i drank rum I always gagged and felt the burning from the sins of a thousand years of hell burning inside my face, throat, and chess. This rum, however, felt like a hot cup of tea during a fall thunder storm. Perfection! — 6 years ago
