Beautiful nose of sweet cherry and sassafras. Medium full body, with medium high acid and astringent tannins. Probably better in a few years or more. — 10 years ago
I can understand how many people are in love with this one. Creaminess, honey,. It's like a nectar. — 10 years ago
Really fun wine. Has more in common with white Burgundy than NZ Sauvignon blanc. A little funky, citrus, minerals and full bodied — 11 years ago
My 1st 2015 not in the same class as 12, 13, & 14 vintage — 9 years ago
Tried the '90 recently, spoke of how amazing a producer of Californian Cabernet it is, but just needed a little more time, this '85 is well & truly on point, everything is in balance, there's fruit intensity yes, but the development/complexity/layers are really shining through, outstanding stuff. — 9 years ago
Hey now,, hook me up COSTCO. Pomegranate red light earth nose, above the tree line clarity. Eases you through from start to finish. Gave a slight morning camp chill before drinking and believe the change in temp added to the ability to transport me out of southern heat and humidity. — 9 years ago
Nuanced, not in your face Syrah. Food overpowered a bit so pair appropriately. Good terrior in there that I enjoyed. — 10 years ago
2010 vintage and drinking really well. Rhone in 'Merica! — 11 years ago
Best white I've had in a long time. Most are usually too strong and acidic for me — 9 years ago
A very special wine. Much more complex than a normal SB in my opinion. got this bad boy in Costco for $25! :) — 9 years ago
More oak and structure than I expect from a merlot, not as soft. In other words, I liked it because it didn't taste like a merlot. — 10 years ago
Checking in...I still have heart burn from all of the acid. Nails. — 10 years ago
Fantastic, easy-to-drink red. Hit the spot! Very jammy, delicious fragrance (can I get this in potpourri??), light tannins, light body. Very tasty. I like a little more bite to my reds, but this is a fantastic wine. — 11 years ago

Red fruit with a little spice, at the moment it shows a little diluted in the middle. I'm not sure whether it is in a dumb stage or fading. Not bad but not up to the competition. — 9 years ago
