Wine from our Fredericksburg trip. From 4.0??? — 7 years ago
This is an excellent wine. Solid across the whole palate. Balance of red and dark fruit. It has the structure to lay and tannin to lay down for 5 more years and wonderful acids to bring a note of brightness that should also endure. — 7 years ago
Best bottle to drink on the dock while fishing for fresh Dungeness crab. Super fizzy, dry, and strawberries that remind of summer sun. Love. — 8 years ago

I swore when I first tasted this. Wow, just wow. Floral, fruity, and flirty. @Erik Barner where are you when we need ya? Happy 4th! — 8 years ago
Keith's annual fino dinner where I over drink carbon dated sherry. Dry start and finish with rockstar spunk. Very mineral. Special barrel at the end of the line with the oldest wine in the entire solera. — 9 years ago
This is just really well balanced. It has the acidity and tannins to run. I can't hit this with one description. Right balance. Right fruit, right must, right bite, slow oxing, will update in an hour. This one needs at least 2yrs to be epic. Save. Will be awesome in 3+. — 9 years ago

Toasted bread, brown bread crust, grape candy, and a leafy, herbal hop character.
Lots of toasty, bready notes with cherry/grape Jolly Rancher and an underlying metallic mineral note from the lager yeast.
Great project for SN pairing up with a different German brewer each year to come up with this. Nice to have a fresh example of this style. — 6 years ago
