fresh, clean chenin, great value — 5 years ago
Interesting comparison between the Fulldraw and Tynan wine. Both were opened about 2hrs. The flavor profile is somewhat similar between the two, showing chocolate and dark blue fruit for the Tynan and red fruit for the Fulldraw. Great spice and pepper with each. The main difference is with the tannins and finish. The tannins on the Tynan are fairly noticeable (in addition to some heat) while the Hard Point’s are already integrated. The finish on the Hard Point is incredibly long and luxurious. @Connor McMahon exceptional wine — 7 years ago
2001 vintage (great Napa cab year). Good, upper-shoulder fill. Dryish cork. Decanted with plenty of sed. Lots of color. Tasted immediately. Smoky plummy nose. Still medium-heavy body. Showing well with plenty of front-palate richness evident in the gums. Overt "oakiness" gone with only complimentary, flattering oak framing the composition at this point. A hint of tannins on the finish but you've got to know where to look. Summer-school hedonism. Slightly better than expected. 11.30.23. — a year ago

Wow. This is young, and the nose is a bit of dark red berry suffusing a sea of resolving American Oak. The American oak is so pronounced that, had I tasted this blind, I might have taken it for Ridge... :) This has decades ahead, even if -only- a Riserva. Like La Rioja Alta 904, a fantastic value in old school Rioja... — 8 years ago

Notes of vegetal with slight bell pepper abounds with plump red fruit. Decanted and wow, restrained and loose when paired with fondue and risotto. — 3 years ago
Beautiful, heavy winter cab. 2017 already drinking well. — 5 years ago
This Napa Cab was on point! 2015 vintage drinking very well. Strong bouquet of blackberry and cherry giving way to a tobacco finish. Big fan on this baby. If you like Napa Cabs, this will make you happy. — 5 years ago

Pale salmon color. Notes of strawberry, grapefruit, toast and brioche. Elegant and refreshingly taut. Really tasty! I also really like Laurent Perrier Cuvée Rosé, but this is my favorite rose champagne for the price point.
