Very fresh. Typical Rippon plumb and black cherry notes but much more angular and youthful than the big brothers. All the structure without much of the fruit. — 7 years ago

I could smell blackberry before I even got my nose close. A him of plumb and maybe some sweet tobacco and earth. Very smooth. Great with a quality dark chocolate but very enjoyable on its own. Got this through WSJ introductory wine offer. Not bad for a deal introductory wine club! — 6 years ago
