I would have expected the tannin to have faded more after ten years. Not bad but stringent through the entire taste sequence. Very rich and aromatic. I taste the smooth merlot grapes with spice and earthiness. It is bold and dry and still very approachable as and evening sipper or paired with and equally bold meal. — a year ago

At 99RM and poured in Cheong Fatt Tze Blue Mansion it was a fun drink. Aroma comes on grapy but no its forward taste is pleasant and smooth. Tannins are low. Then ends with a bitterness. Drinks like an inexpensive cab. — 8 months ago
