Somewhat sweet but dry at the finish on the tongue. The blend is on point. Would drink again for sure. By the bottle. Drank in Pisa with the wife — 7 years ago

Poggio al Tesoro is located in the admired area of Bolgheri, an appellation situated in the upper part of Tuscany’s Maremma, south of Pisa and just two miles from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Light sunshine color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits accompanied by floral tones and light spice notes. On the palate tangy peach, melon and lemon flavors, crisp, surrounded by pepper and spice. Medium body this wine finished with a gentle touch of minerality. Tasting Sample. — 9 years ago

Exactly what it should be! I am here in Pisa- central Tuscany- and enjoying a wine from the region with food from the area. This family is a many generation making wine. It is 3 years old and it is fresh and long and balanced with fruit, spice and acidity. Bravo! — 7 years ago

A discovery. Very Tuscan, but not colli senesi, nor Chianti. It comes from Pisa. An original blend. Was good with light cheese and artisanal ham — 9 years ago
A much improved wine on day 2. This Pinot seems to have staying power, nice structure with a delicate blessing of red fruit. Would like to revisit with food, as opposed to a hotel room tipple in OKC — 10 years ago
Nice, clean Pinot. — 6 years ago
Well structured Bordeaux-style blend (60% Cab, 40% Cab Franc) from Pisa, Tuscany. Great depth, freshness and colour with aromatic dark fruity notes. Interesting and unique find from an extensive Jacobs & Co wine list. 92 — 7 years ago
I visited this boutique vineyard in Siena. The winemaker believes that playing classical music is beneficial to his vines. I also learned that the University of Pisa and Florence are conducting a scientific research on the effect of sound waves on vines. Music or not... decanted for 2 hours, this wine is magnificent! Leather, vanilla, dill, and cherry notes. Happy New Year friends. — 9 years ago
