Are Italians even capable of producing a bad wine? This was one of the most perfectly balanced wines I’ve had in a while. Easy to drink, soft, not too fruity, dry, or acidic. Paired great with roast beef. — 6 years ago
We had this wine in Montepulciano amazing small city in Tuscany. A good Sangiovese! #montepulciano #contucci #italianwines #tuscany #sangiovese — 7 years ago

This guy is like the Jacky Truchot of Alto Piemonte. Light color, yet amazing finesse and delicacy along with a brilliant texture. Gorgeous nose. Cherries, spice, sawdust, Rainer cherries as well, some lurid feral aromas as well. So complex, delicate and detailed. Palate is beautifully fruited with lovely elegant tannin and gorgeous bright cherries rule the day. Dusty elegant tannin and sappy fruit finish it off. Needs maybe 1 hour to turn into the lace monster it becomes. — 8 years ago

V14. Nicely done, well balanced. Very soft oak nose. Pear, and honeydew, and a touch of Meyer lemon fruit. Nice crisp, and mineral finsih. — 7 years ago
This was a bit tight at first. After a couple hours, this wine opened up nicely. — 9 years ago
Refreshing red, almost moscato like. I would not drink it with dinner, but a dessert or just plain old sipping wine would do. We had it with dark chocolate cake and it paired. — 6 years ago
Tastes like Italy in the summer. Salinity, brightness. — 6 years ago
Great value! This tastes fresh. Note the most dry rosé, more like off-dry. Strong minerality balanced out with notes of melon and apricot — 7 years ago
Good depth and nuance. Tastes like a decent mid range Champagne. A ringer in a tasting one day? — 7 years ago
Goes with virtually any good and any group of friends. — 8 years ago
