Dark ruby red to the edge. Dry full bodied with nice balance of fruit and tannins. — 6 years ago

2001 Tenuto dell' Ornellaia Masseto merlot. Drank during date night at Vincenti. Decanted about an hour before drinking, but it was still massive. It was a gorgeous wine though- full bouquet of fruits and rich tannins. Loved it! — 10 years ago

— 11 years ago
2018 Montalcino at Felice. Very good! — 5 years ago
Nose is smokey, tarry and reserved initially. Nice spices. Some tea. But seems like it’s about to bust open in 30 minutes or so. Chestnut. Some mid season cherry and minerality develops. It’s getting floral now. Palate is juicy, ripe and dense with great freshness and expressive mineralIty. Concentrated and really complex. Worlds better than the Gallina. Needs maybe one hour open but terrific energy, density and freshness. Long as well. Balanced. Substantial tannins but velvety and just barely sweet. — 5 years ago

I liked it but too sweet for Warren — 6 years ago

Barnyard-y! We dug it. — 8 years ago
This is absolutely priceless as a starter wine. For people who are not sure if they like red wine and want to try something that doesn't require much of an acquired taste. It is sweet but not overwhelmingly so, and imminently drinkable. — 9 years ago

Bright. Tannins. This has some legs. — 6 years ago
A characteristic lean and acidic style here. The fruit is lip smacking new cherries. Cherry and grape Fun Dip? Vegetal as well. A nice accompaniment to a box of chocolates and an afternoon vision boarding for 2019 by the fire. Happy new year! — 7 years ago

Very nice intense with a good finish. Paired well with the lamb. 4/18 — 8 years ago
2015 vintage. Drank in July 2017. $14.55 CAD. Pale to medium yellow with presence of very tiny bubbles. On the nose; fruits and yellow Lifesavers (lemon candy). On the palate: fresh and crisp, pineapple. Very much enjoyed and would buy it again.
2015 savouré en juillet 2017. $14.55CAD. Jaune pâle à moyen. Odeur de fruits et de Lifesavers jaune (bonbons aux citrons). Frais en bouche et ananas. J'ai très apprécié et récidiverais. — 8 years ago
Super yummy, nice and light and jammy a little sweet or just floral, not quite sure. — 9 years ago
Lots of herb and grass. Still need to mellow out. Burly tannins still! — 11 years ago
