Not quite as yeasty as a rose champagne but quite lovely to celebrate an anniversary — 5 years ago
The name of the estate comes from "Ca' Pazzo", shown on ancient maps. Estate covers an area of 190 hectares, 54 which are vineyards, 4 are olive groves, 87 which are wooded and 45 are planted with new vines. Deep Ruby with a berry fruit aromas blossom and smoke, aged for 2 years on oak. On the palate cherry & strawberry flavors, with leather, cacao and tobacco notes. Lively acidity, fine approachable tannins, long ending with spicy oak finish. — 5 years ago
I mean, the name alone makes you want to, at the very least, try it. And let me tell you, you’ll be happy you did! Some red fruit (cranberry mainly) and acidity with a yeasty finish. A fun change from your standard bubble options and the perfect holiday color! — 6 years ago

Bubbles are soft (great texture) and refreshing as hell. Tastes like orchard fruit, some watermelon and rhubarb. Another bottle is needed! — 6 years ago

Las Alturas' Spanish for 'the heights', a fitting name, this vineyard located on one of the highest grape-growing benches in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. 4th gen Winemaker Joseph J. Wagner from a family with farming and winemaking roots in Napa since 1906. Met Joe several times. Deep Ruby (darkest Pinot I have come across, almost looks like a Cab). Rich berry flavors with cedar, spice and vanilla. Lingering ending with sweet oak notes. Consistent quality Nice! A Fav! — 5 years ago
Effervescent, summery, bret, Apple (honey crisp), yummmmyyy — 6 years ago
One of the best pet nats I’ve ever tasted. This is on another level. The cab franc gives way to lots of crunchy red fruits on that palate, supported by high acidity and lots of minerality. While a lot of pet nats can be much more rough around the edges, this is all about finesse. — 6 years ago
In the name of research, a quick test to mark this young Super Tuscsan. I must say the first sip after decant is promising. I believe in time, this will be a great Tig that will show well. Nice dark currant with hint of smoke. Will lay the others down 5-7 more years. — 6 years ago
