85% Mondeuse, 15% Persan. 11% ABV. 24mg/l sulfur. Matchstick / toasted nut, slight spritz and funk at opening. Lovely at 2hrs decant. Tons of violet, rose and very floral / potpourri, white pepper, purple fruited (pomegranate, cassis and plum), currant, red apple skin, black cherry skins, raspberry. Love the way this evolves with air, fresh plum skin tannins and florals. Intriguing and sexy and utterly drinkable — 3 years ago
