Round, supple, good mouth feel, targeted, small vineyard, but drinks like a big house champagne — 7 years ago
WoW what a good one ! Mineral and fruity nose at once : lemon, white flowers, a bit of crushed rocks with too. Superb. The palate is well balanced with a sheer acid backbone and some nice texture and grip all along. Lemon is there to play its part. Long finish with lemon and rocks. A sancerre that plays in the Chablis league ! Love it — 7 years ago
Just OK on day one. After 2 days on my Argon line. Cardamom, Allspice, forest notes, tannins integrated, black tea, orange rind and dark cherries. I prefer the Suchots from the same vintage. Over all i don’t think that Pascal Marchand did a good job in 2010. I am surprised that he did not better with Grand Cru fruit in a good vintage. May be picked too early? 13% . — 3 years ago

What a huge 2015 success. Lovely nose of big cherry, cassis, crushed stones and so much intense minerality. Floral as well with lavender and mashed violets. Intense and gorgeous. Palate is just a fruit bomb. Amazingly concentrated yet elegant as well with huge rich cherry fruit that is so sweet and gorgeously defined. Wonderful acidity and freshness. Best showing yet. — 7 years ago
Very forward for a Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Tropical fruit with some minerality on the nose. Persistent but not overpowering acidity with enough body to match. Some residual sugar on the palette as well. — 8 years ago

As Tom Cassagrande said, spot on Burgundy white. Lemon oil, wet stone, slightly closed/reduced and showing a bit more character on day 2, this is what I remember Bougogne balance of the late 90's and early 2000's to taste like. — 4 years ago
Lot May 2011, disg. Feb 2014. Muted upon opening, but give this a little bit of air....then, oh my god. This is so much better than my last btl, it's hard to believe. On the nose: soft honey, dense lemon oil, soft vanilla, a touch of oxidative golden apple. On the palate: fantastic acidity, soft and fine mousse, gorgeous density and richness, pomelo, and a lovely soft, velvety finish. — 5 years ago

Very nice Julienas... nice fruit and smooth tannins. I usually don’t drink gamay but this one caught my eye at a tasting and had it yesterday after an old Châteauneuf de pape. Dark fruit , blueberry...smooth tannins — 7 years ago
