Paper Street Zin. I am the first to rate! Its Turley. Just above all the rest. — 5 years ago
First rum I’ve ever liked, I’m 40 years old and whenever i drank rum I always gagged and felt the burning from the sins of a thousand years of hell burning inside my face, throat, and chess. This rum, however, felt like a hot cup of tea during a fall thunder storm. Perfection! — 5 years ago
Solid red blend with northern red wine varieties. — 7 years ago
This incredibly unique semi-carbonated Lambrusco is all about Red Delicious apples. Pretty crimson murky red with a tinge of copper on the brim. It’s completely dry with a bitter note reminiscent of apple skin. Tart cranberries and spiced cherry flavors formulate into a Dr. Pepper and nutmeg elixir. So unusual and so perfect for this time of year.
And more surprises - an odd cone shaped knobless Champagne cork that requires a corkscrew. It comes wrapped in a personal paper note from the winemaker about wine quality. — 7 years ago
Summertime with girl with a paper fan, slow and relaxing, a young woman without too much complexity, simpler, not straightforward but like light breeze in summer afternoon. Kinda quiet. — 8 years ago
Lovely cab blend strongly expressing green paper and raspberries note with a body of young tannins. Needs a decade. — 8 years ago
Fantastic chardonnay from Greg Brewer that is only going to get better and better with more time in the bottle. A perfect match for a spectacular day in Eagle Harbor on Lake Superior…and even better to celebrate Vanessa’s paper being accepted for publication today! 🥳 — 4 years ago

Blackberries & black cherries with some cigarbox, thyme, black peppercorns and black tea essence. Plus a whiff of exotic (sandalwood?).
Strong (yet polished) tannins, high acidity and noticeable alcohol - yet after 11y this mix has created a very intriguing, complex and highly drinkable wine. Superb, though probably not everybody’s cup of tea.

My husband is a scotch drinker, but, this was given to him as a Christmas present last year.
He landed up opening it up last week to try, and really liked it. He’s had a glass every night so far.

The nose reveals, lemon curd, lime, green apple, overripe pineapple, a salted caramel, beautiful soft minerals, chalk power and yellow flowers, lilies, spring flowers with greens.
The body is full and round. Honeysuckle, fruit blossoms, lemon curd, lime, green apple, overripe pineapple, a salted caramel, beautiful soft minerals, chalk power and yellow flowers, lilies, spring flowers with greens. The acidity is round. The lush finish thick, rich and well polished.

Raspberry, dried blackberry and cedar form a distinct potpourri when considered with the dried rose petal and orange bitters. There is a fleeting fruitiness that approaches strawberries dropped into a coniferous fire. Lovely, if firm tannins support a whale of a wine. Amazing depth with Roobios tea leafs, tobacco, graphite, bay leaf, bing cherry, dried black cherry and black currants on carbon paper and campfire ash, driven deep into a charred wormwood and dusty schist. This is an incredible Nebbiolo that over-delivers in every sense! #piedmontesewines #nebbiolo #nebbiololover #nebbiololife #nebbiolodalba #alba #Demarie #piedmont #babybarolo #italianred #Italianwine — 8 years ago
