Pretty spicy but at the end of its life. Enjoyed it!! — 11 years ago
Big fan of this Malbec. Rose, anise seed and dark chocolate on the nose complete with tobacco and dark cherries on the palate. Continues to open and develop. Such a beauty. Two nights in a row I taste a great wine chosen by another German friend 🇩🇪 — 11 years ago
Still inky and scrumptious. Really wish they still made this. Should drink just as well for a few more years. — 12 years ago

Great tasting malbec — 11 years ago
Usually drink my red wine cold. This one is not good cold. Tried it at warm room temperature and let it breathe for 15 minutes. It was really smooth, nice taste. It's dry and grapy. If it's cold its too harsh. — 11 years ago

Great semi sweet wine from Spain — 13 years ago
Tequila from Jalisco. La Pinta is a delicious blend of pomegranate flavors and "Clase Azul" plata tequila. Serve chilled and enjoy neat, on the rocks or in a mixed cocktail. — 13 years ago
Saved this for Paloma. Drank with new abuelos — 8 years ago
Dark berries and a hint of orange peel, with a little graphite and stone. Medium acidity and tannins. Very good value, which is typical of the wines I’ve had from this producer. — 8 years ago
Another kick ass performance from a Spring Mountain merlot. Bold, dense and chewy, expresso and black cherry with significant warmth and length. If you think you don't like merlot ascend the circular back roads of Spring Mountain (or go online if you're lazy) and get a Switchback, Pride Mountain vintner select, Paloma, Keenan or Barnett and you can thank me later. These plump full bodied babes will change your mind about the varietal. — 10 years ago
Concentration on maximum. Sunny and still intensely earthy and lithe. I get a little tired trying to conquer this bottle, and luckily I have friends...more than one around to help with finishing this. Held up for 4 days open, just got softer but never lost its umfffff. — 11 years ago

fresh, fruit fwd & delicious rosé cava — 11 years ago

We just had the 2011 vintage and apparently it has nothing in common with prior vintages. Given time, super chocolate notes to start and later leather and tobacco flavors and nose come through. Not what I would typically expect of a malbec but a nice wine with a good rare steak...and pretty damn good with chicken — 8 years ago
