I'm a little surprised by this wine. Hopping it's not that my palate was shot. — 10 years ago

Very clean and well balanced cab, but lacks a little complexity near the end, great wine aroma, and sweet in the finish, beautiful rich red color — 11 years ago
Great Bordeaux Blend from the Margaret River in Western Australia. Nice nose with hints of red fruit, licorice, and spice. The taste is somewhat old world, there is fruit, but it seems more earthy to me. Nice change from the big Fruit bombs I have been drinking lately. — 11 years ago
Buttery smooth, intense stone fruit, off dry — 13 years ago
16.5/20 (91/100) Ароматы экзотических фруктов, спелых яблок и дыни, нота молочных сливок. Тельное с высокой кислотностью, немного спиртуозно. Отличное шардоне! — 7 years ago

Wow; how maturing #margaretriver #chardonnay does vary; see recent #cullen #2009 which was brassy, this gleaming green and plenty of it; #cullen restrained, this #capementelle is butch; nose power of smoke or burnt things, bottle age nose not simple, evidence of lees/ mlf from the smoke; palate chunky, lime juice, burnt toast you taste in 30 yo Eden Valley riesling; juicy smoke; rich, not terribly drying, acid taut, 13%, AUD 35, full bodied, no apparent reason for it to fade for a while; contained power. #uncorkedandcultivated #wineandfoodtours — 10 years ago
