Monticello Petit Manseng 2018

Quite interesting. My only experience with Petit Manseng from Virginia had been with much sweeter ones. Another surprise was the golden color not past its peak. 2018 vintage drunk June 20 25, $30. — 3 months ago

North Gate Vineyard

Chardonnay 2017

Clean, beautiful fruit from Wild Meadow (think M.Shaps)… holding up nicely after eight years… Although the acid has weighed enough to make it difficult for cream based pairing options — 21 days ago

Lost Mountain Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

No one can guess this is from Virginia! Go for it, if you can get it… — 3 months ago

Trump Winery

Monticello Sparkling Rosé Blend 2018

This wine pours up in a pretty salmon color, with bubbles galore. The foam settles quickly, leaving a frizzante beverage. The nose has strawberries, a touch of earth, and a toasty element. In the mouth, it’s fairly rich and creamy, aside from the decent acidity. It finishes long and tart, with a raspberry note as a memento.
