Cocktail hour at Christie's hosted by the Friends of Notre Dame in the effort to help raise money for the cathedral's restoration. The wines were artfully curated by @Noah May.
Second up was this delicious and supple white burgundy. Pears and apple blossom combine in this texturally elegant wine. The finish is adequate if a little stilted. It should be noted that when I had this wine with an elegantly crafted canapé, both exploded with taste. Next time it will be a whole bottle with a full meal! — 8 years ago
Delicious!!! Would recommend with food - roast lamb with tzatziki on the side would be ideal. Medium to full bodied with good upfront inky fruit ;) @Noah Chilton — 9 years ago

Wow, that's what a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon should taste like?? Delighted to be given such an incredible drop thanks to @Noah Chilton. Big berry nose, well balanced oak, a touch of tobacco, crisp apple skins and good tannins that linger nicely. Perfect food wine paired with a roasted tomato and zucchini pasta. A "real crowd pleaser" ;) — 9 years ago
$6.99 - I liked it, very astringent and earthy. Noah didn't like it — 10 years ago

Banshee Wines was founded by 3 friends Noah Dorrance, Baron Ziegler, and Steve Graf who shared a lifelong dream of owning their own winery. Their first vintage of Pinot Noir, produced in 2009 was sold out in 3 months. Deep color with red berry fruit aromas and notes of sweet floral scents. On the palate ripe red plum, currant and cherry flavors with complex spice. Smooth tannins balanced well with vivid acidity, lingering ending with a mineral character. Nice value. Tasting Sample. — 7 years ago
Cocktail hour at Christie's hosted by the Friends of Notre Dame in the effort to help raise money for the cathedral's restoration. The wines were artfully curated by @Noah May. First up was this beguiling Chenin Blanc that was golden in color and burst with peaches, orange peel and spice cake. Its richness coats the mouth. A fascinating wine. — 8 years ago

Valtellina tasting run by Seattle treasure, Noah Oldham. This wine suffered for its context (4 ArPePe greats), but on its own, it's delicious. A little hot compared to other Valtellina Nebbiolo. But soured and mossy. — 9 years ago

Text book Pinot Noir if I may say. Slight touch of oak, a little fruit and a tiny bit of grip. Buy buy buy. Again again again. Thank you @Noah Chilton — 9 years ago

Unicorn Wednesday! Ethereal, soft, beautiful, bing cherry, sweet flowers, marzipan?, mild fall leaves, smooth very fine tannins but they grip, good acidic backbone, everything in harmony, nothing unbalanced. First try of the '13s, can't wait to see where these go in the future...thanks @Noah Raizman — 10 years ago

I’m loving this. Yeah QPR isn’t great but I didn’t buy it so that’s irrelevant. This is a pretty bottle of wine. Will defer to @Noah Raizman & @Joe Tucker if this counts as fake or real burgundy. — 7 years ago
