Finally popped one of these open. I couldn't wait any longer. Sam Kaplan's inaugural vintage from his new winery with his wife Nancy. So much more complex than your average Pinot which I would expect nothing less. Nice medium finish. Bold fruits. Mellowed nicely after being open an hour or so. Great wine from a terrific produce. Volley after volley of white fruit, apple and a exotic tropical component. Solid acid backbone to offset the sweetness. @Valerie O'Shea and @Nancy dwight love this producer by missed out on this bottle.
