Dark purple, looked ageless in the decanter. Huge aromatics. In the glass some rim gradation. Perfectly aged. Currant, iron, leather, cherry liqueur, tobacco. Firing on all cylinders. Beautiful with albondigas. Really lovely stuff. We could all hope to age so gracefully. Stunning.

Lovely bottles. Pure rocks, great texture, touch of petrol. Took a bit to come around but an incredible pairing with smoky Porchetta on the big green egg. 🔥🔥🔥

When the normally abstemious @Jim Wagonfeld goes back for seconds, you know you’re drinking something special. From magnum. Beguiling aromas- roast meats, foliage, fruit. Palate deceptively juicy & fresh to begin, switched gears to something more profound. Everyone was talking about this wine. Delicious in all aspects and firing on all cylinders. Pure pleasure.
