Not too sweet and tastes just like pineapples! Pairs great with poke or Thai food. I was really shocked by how much I liked this wine and I’m not normally a sweet white wine drinker. — 8 years ago
From a 2012 successful harvest this “Chardo” is no exception of a classical Napa Valley showcase. Opened at 55 degrees for inviting botanical, and subtlety toasted aromas. Mouthfeel incredibly light no oak for instance… bwell balanced for that peach, pineapple, and all that ripe baked fruit like that fruit tartars from that famous French Bakery. Ten years later it does stand to be drinkable now, not later than 2023

Rich and mouth coating...notes of candied apricot, pineapple marmalade and créme brûlée — 9 years ago
Pineapple on the nose; stone and acid on the palate. Clean aftertaste. Superb. — 10 years ago
My first 'old' Champagne: no fizz, just some vague tingling. Mild oxidation, sauteed pineapple, caramel, hint of salivating sweetness, really complex and deep. Pretty impressive what chardonnay can do! — 12 years ago
Super drinkable. Pineapple or lime and greens - like leaves or green peppers. — 8 years ago
From the man who made the winning white wine in the judgement of Paris. Flinty, chamomile plant, juniper, green pineapple, slight greeness, golden delicious apples, straw and preserved lemon. Medium plus acid and some back palate astringency indicating the oak use. — 8 years ago
Pineapple creme apricot honey spice really nice — 9 years ago
Lemon zest, pineapple, grass flavor is well integrated with balanced acidity. 2015 was showing less intensity of tropical fruits compared to previous years — 10 years ago
Apricot confit & blonde tobacco notes with lively acidity. Sipped with pineapple cake but would have gone better with epoissese. — 11 years ago
Much lighter in color than expected. Lots going on: pineapple juice, chamomile, lemon curd, oyster shell, beeswax, white flowers...huge finish. — 11 years ago
Very good, easy to drink on its own, but would certainly hold up to a variety of foods ... would be quite good with fish. On the nose - initial strong notes of apricot and possibly pineapple, more subtle notes of green apple, peach, and purple grape. On the palette - quite fruity, relatively long finish. Maybe a bit of fig taste. Comes across as sweet but in further thought is rather off dry. Creamy in the mouth. Strong mandarin flavor. — 8 years ago
Lemon, Gravel, Pineapple, Yogurt on the nose. It’s off dry. Medium bodied and acidic up front but mellowing on the end. Coconut and citrus on the pallet. Really great wine at a great value. — 8 years ago
Wildly unexpected. Pineapple, caramel, apple. Grilled lemons. Very good. — 10 years ago
Toasted marshmallow n pineapple — 10 years ago
Definition of refreshing!
Nose: Stone fruit, minerals, lemon grass

All around impressive Sav Blanc, can't believe I waited this long to try it. — 11 years ago

Dark golden bordering Carmel. Seductive nose. Ginger root, organic honey, and toasted almond. The oxidation is in a great spot. Medium weight with dried apricot and pineapple. Acidity carries on the finish. In a wonderful place, drink or hold. — 7 years ago
