Cite du vin. Bordeaux museum tasting. The best ever..! — 5 years ago
At Columbus Museum of Art. Fitting wine for up scale event. Nice character while presenting hints of fruit and berries. (2013 vintage) — 5 years ago
Smooth, semi-sweet port. Not too heavy, nice on its own or with desert. — 6 years ago
Blend of 2011, 2012, 2013. Fantastic with funky cheeses (manchego!) and grilled steak. Had this at a wine tasting of “bold and beautiful reds” on 2/23/18 with Becky and Jenn, and had to buy a bottle. The taste reminds me of the smell of the Museum of Man at Balboa Park. — 6 years ago
Last day in Nevada at museum cafe. Very nice cab. Chocolate notes. — 8 years ago
Magnum 2009 Screaming Eagle Cab. Drank during museum dinner (post lunch at Il P). Despite its youth, this wine drank perfectly. There's a distinct suppleness with this wine that is so pleasing. Immensely enjoyed by the whole table. Note that K thought he would drink this wine again at same point in time- surprised by how good it was in spite of how young it was. — 8 years ago
More fruit but with some dusty tannins. Spicy aromas with hints of licorice and balsamic vinegar. Ripe red fruit flavors with that same licorice note. Very pleasant. Great vintage. Thanks for sharing, Ron B. — 4 years ago

Globs of flavor! Brown sugar, toasted vanilla, warm coffee, cigar box, cherry brandy, and a hint of leather — 8 years ago
Imagine going to MoMA and instead of seeing the actual art you stay in the bookstore and look at photobooks of the art, until before you know it the museum closes. That is what it was like to pop and pour this wine from the 99 vintage. It was closed at first, then good but disjointed, then really good, and then the last glass was incredible with flowers, earth, and red fruit, all in impeccable balance. Then it was gone. Next time I will decant. — 5 years ago
Consistently delicious and great value in Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc Champagne.
Fresh, reductive, lively on the palate. Green apple, lemon, lime zest, baguette crust, pineapple, white peach, lanolin, cream, perfect chalk & minerality, yellow & white florals, beautiful acidity and rich polished finish that persists.
Photos of; one of their Grand Cru vineyards, two views of their historical museum of champagne/wine artifacts since it’s beginnings and Launois. — 5 years ago
