This wine survived our Sierra Mule trip to 9500 feet. Black cherry nose. Hint of chocolate and faint mint. Round and at its peak now. In the glass chocolate, black tea, eucalyptus and mint. Really nice for the money 23$. Therefore a high rating. — 9 years ago

Batik lacing on a mocha-foam crown. German chocolate cake, espresso, a note of soy , and chocolate syrup aromas. Coffee liqueur, burnt sugar, coffee rye, licorice, burnt toast, black barley. The cypress aging makes an interesting companion to the above flavors, focusing a dry, grainy, wooden, tannic, briny, burnt coffee character through the satisfying finish.
