Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cassis, cedar, and graphite on the nose; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, black cherries, eucalyptus, and wet gravel with a medium finish. This wine is intense and complex, but a little too tannic and bitter for the amount of fruit (it probably needs more age, or more time in the decanter). After 30 minutes in a decanter, this wine is much more balanced and well integrated. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 7 months ago

Big bold Cabernet from Alexander Valley. Dark purple in color. Nice fingers. Earthy. Nice tannin structure. Black cherry and leather. Very nice. — a year ago
Schoolbook pinot with warm strawberry and sloeberry fruit. Cranberries on the finish. Some oak and spices on the finish. Simply very enjoyable! — 4 years ago
Intense red fruited aromas and flavors, a little less tannic and structured than the 2007, but this shows bracing acidity at the present time, long, lingering finish, which the incredible acid backbone lifts and lengthens, another wine to ideally drink from 25-30 years after the vintage! — 7 months ago
Really good, delicious. — 8 months ago
Wonderful California Cab, with hints dark cherry and licorice. Perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness, but not fruity at all. Finishes with a nice grippy tannins. My perfect wine. — 10 months ago
Delicious, great balance and nice structure. Could be mistaken for a nice burgundy. Great balance of earthy and fruity notes. Would probably be better after more time. Also tried the 2022 which was good but too young — a year ago
Light, slightly fruity bouquet, a little tart and buttery on the palate. Great price at Costco and thought I would give it a try. I’d buy it again. — 4 years ago
Inky in color with a reddish rim.
Pretty nose of black fruits with cedar, vanilla, tobacco, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, licorice and cola.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with black currants, black plums, blackberries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, chocolates, peppercorn and tobacco.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Mount Veeder in Napa Valley.
Elegant and nicely balanced. Fruit forward, rich and smooth.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes of airtime
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Zinfandel, 7.5% Petit Verdot and 7.5% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (33% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months.
14.9% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

The wine opened up quite a bit after decanting for an hour or so. Great tawny color, notes of sour cherry and raisins, long aftertaste. Will integrated tannins. An awesome bottle! — 8 months ago
Winemaker dinner at Nari. Fabulous and if not tied for WOTN it might win in some cases. — 10 months ago
I really enjoyed the complexity of this wine. Maybe it’s because they use 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and bottle unfiltered. Flavor profile includes blackberries, raspberry, and an earthy finish.
if you have a chance to enjoy a bottle, don’t hesitate.

2022 vintage. A mature, smooth, complex CS — a year ago
Smooth and not very dry, Kye likes it a lot — a year ago
Still young for my tastes but checking in on a go-to producer. Killer with King Crab Salad sandwiches 🥪
This bottle was a bit slow out the gate and needed some air to reveal the magic inside. This bottle was a pick up from Corti Bros when passing through Sacramento via Tahoe.
Finesse, and beautifully prolific white wine structure all the way throughout.

We had the battle of the Shiraz at our family gathering over Christmas. A Shiraz from South Australia and South Africa. Both 2016. This Shiraz, despite from the Adelaide Hills where I think it is a little cooler, was very rich, very bold and broad and a slight jammy note on the edge perhaps. People liked it, but all the votes when for the Shiraz of Cederberg from South Africa. Fun!!! — 5 months ago
