Classic Barolo. Needs time. — 9 years ago
Soft and elegant. Showing why La Morra is so approachable versus some of the Monforte and Serralunga wines. — 10 years ago
Excellent modernist barolo, much better on day 2, heat and oak lessened allowing minerality to come through. Succulent black raspberry fruit, vivid and fresh w great acids, extremely aromatic rose, tar, and black raspberry nose. Firm, yet lightly gripping tannin, and expansive palate. Very good 'soft' la morra barolo! 2007 vintage. — 10 years ago
Planted in 1948 la morra is lighter more elegant — 11 years ago

When you want to drink Bovio Barolo, you must go to Bovio Ristorante in La Morra. Wine is still fresh and showing wonderfully. This was available in Atlanta at one point. I hope all got to taste it. — 9 years ago
