From La Morra, Super floral, red tart cherries, black tea, slight leather, tannin and acid high. When you want to drink Bovio Barolo, you must go to Bovio Ristorante in La Morra. Wine is still fresh and showing wonderfully. This was available in Atlanta at one point. I hope all got to taste it. — 9 years ago

Black raspberry, cherry, and tar meet spice box, leather and licorice on the nose. Floral characters are there too. Round oak notes of vanilla bean and cedar bark lead to a bright cherry fruit mid-palate which transitions into a sweet, but savory finish, highlighted with juicy cherry fruit. Chalky tannins on the backend drive a sense of minerality. Purchased at the enoteca in La Morra in 2016. Drink with decant or hold. — 7 years ago
