Nose has ripe plum, raisins, slight peppery spice, cold cherry and distant oak notes.
Palate has tannic plum, cherry, ripe raspberry, dried green herbs (light) and trailing dried strawberry.
Decanted ~2 hours, tannins are light but linger. Medium finish. I believe the (field?) blend is 40% Tempranilo, 25% Syrah, 20% Blaufrankish, 10% Viogner and 5% Sauvignon Blanc. — 7 years ago
A singular Sauvignon blanc - crisp, green, with a hint of lemon but very long finish like a champagne. Amphorae aged — 8 years ago
Natty, nice, no back end so it’s super easy to drink — 8 years ago
@Delectable Wine This is the 2016 Minimus Trousseau Noir Omero vineyard. Everyone else, this is delicious. Berries and earth and tea aged texture and lightness and acidity and just a touch of funk. Chad's got this dialed in. — 9 years ago
Two cool varietals. I havent had St Laurent or Monteuse in ages. The plan? Create two separate, single varietal wines from these grapes. But when they were finished fermenting, they had a little leftover of each so they put them together in a barrel. When they tasted the resulting blend, they realized that the combination was better than either alone.
This is a full bodied and intense wine with rustic red fruit, good herb and spice, and high tanninic structure. Savory and dry. So unique. — 3 years ago
In 2018, the Minimus Pet Nat from Jubilee Vineyard is 100% Dolcetto. The wine is crisp, fresh & has crushed strawberry notes. Excellent. 12.4% ABV. — 6 years ago
I was very impressed with this. Lots of texture and grip, with a savory character as well. A rosé to make you stop and think. — 7 years ago
Third time trying this. Tightly coiled and reminiscent of young Meursault on popping the cork, with a certain reductive flintiness to its wonderfully pure Jonagold apple fruit. After being open for a couple days the wine is altogether more expressive, with creme brulee, almond, and bread dough aromas complementing its still vibrant core of orchard fruit and minerality. Strikingly rich and sumptuous for its relatively modest alcohol and lip-smacking acid structure. Given how positively it evolved and unfurled with a few days worth of oxygen, I'd lay this down for at least a couple years. Hats off. — 7 years ago
Beautiful, fun wine. What is the cepage, I wonder?! — 8 years ago
Dark blueberries and a lingering warmth in your chest, notes of pepper spice. Delicious with food but sippable without, one of my favorite wines literally ever. (App does say "celilo" but it's Johan vineyards) — 9 years ago
You don’t miss your water ‘til your well runs dry. — 4 years ago
Super evocative wine. Lots of rocks, green bramble, intensity, and huge perfume. Didn’t know what to expect, but thoroughly enjoyed. — 5 years ago
white pepper and aromas of cheese and dill. Its complex and crunchy- like salt and vinegar chips — 6 years ago
This is amazing. Unlike any sort of Rose I’ve seen. Not dry. Rich I color. — 7 years ago

For the dog days of summer - this is a big rose. Dark for a rose and dry as a bone. Beautiful components of crushed strawberries, cranberry, and tart red cherries. A slight funk which is nice, kind of like a beer. Delicious. — a year ago
