30+ minutes open in the bottle. Dark red color. Definitely drinking young but best value on the wine list. Nose initially smells of the General Mills plant in Buffalo, which leads to dark cherries and forest floor. Medium plus depth that is well balanced between dark fruit, earth, and smoke. Dinner at Amah with London Lees. Very nice balanced Pinot with a cherry bright nose and a core of berries that lifts the wine, took an hour or so to open up. Very nice, one more. AA26 — a year ago
Interesting first taste of Eden Valley Riesling. 440-490 m vineyard cool climate dry Riesling that has good acidity and stony white fruits and firm biting texture through the finish. Terrific with the variety of dinners art Rockies and Capital Reef Torrey schoolhouse. — 3 years ago
