Rough at first. It took about 3 hours to really shine and show off. #bordeaux #cos #cosdestournel #2ndgrowth — 11 years ago
Why would I bother saying anything about such a notoriously delicious wine? — 11 years ago
2013 nz solid sauv blanc. Very very tasty — 11 years ago
Probably my most favorite! Not inexpensive at restaurants ($65-$76), but pairs so well with just about anything. Year after year it is consistently great. It's hard not to share it, but then you must keep multiple bottles in stock! — 12 years ago
Okay, I get what all the fuss is about. Hard to believe that something so layered and 'sweet' can have such refreshing acidity. Like being inside a leaking beehive during the lightning storm — 9 years ago
Mild tropical flavors, fresh and crisp, it's fantastic! — 10 years ago
Close your eyes. Imagine cognac. Take a sip. What's this? A bourbon? Nay, an oh-so-yummy whiskey, says I. — 11 years ago
Has been a while since we've had the '07. It was great to find it at our small local Italian restaurant, especially for way below retail. Purchased the rest to take home to the cellar. Anyways, it is drinking very well. The 07 and 05 are our favorites and about the only Opus we purchase. — 11 years ago
Really good but still can't stop thinking about '88 — 11 years ago
Great wine! Took about 45 min to open up but when it did... Wow! So amazed with still having black fruit flavors behind the cigar and moroccan leather! — 12 years ago
2006 vintage. Medium ruby hue. Cedar, blackberry, black currant, some black liquorice, white pepper. Reasonably complex despite youthfulness. On the palate, medium minus body and medium acidity, medium plus concentration of flavour. Medium alcohol. Medium minus tannins - soft. Good length. There's a slight dilute, light feel about this wine. It might gain weight with a bit more age or some proper decanting. Very enjoyable. Drink now until 2026+ — 9 years ago
Classic Bordeaux, took about 45 minutes to open. Was full of tobacco, leather, with surprising and slight floral overtone. — 11 years ago
Outstanding bottle and value - goes with just about anything — 11 years ago
Got this guy about 6 months ago at Safeway for $31.99 — 11 years ago

This wine amazed me, I’ve had it before and it’s never shown this well, maybe just hitting it’s stride? Beautiful perfumed floral nose ( never thought I would say that about a Dunn), exquisite balance, the fruit is slightly sweet, the tannins are fully integrated and refined, with just the right amount of acid in the finish. I would never guess mountain fruit or let alone Dunn if tasted blind. Can’t wait to try it again in a couple of years. — 8 years ago
